Review of 2016: Obama's America (2012) by Matthew K — 22 Sep 2012
What I originally thought would be nothing more than pro-Obama propaganda turned out to be a thoughtful, investigative exploration around the world to understand the mind and worldview of our current President. Everyone has been confused because his policies have defied contemporary political labels.
The film explores his roots of anti-colonialism (as written in his auto-biography: "Dreams from My Father"), making him fundamentally opposed to a prosperous USA, as he views the USA as a guilty colonialist nation and therefore must be changed at its core. Annual national deficits of the 80's and 90's have become MONTHLY deficits under Obama, as he seeks to destroy America - the constitutional republic formed in 1776 - through total financial collapse.
In 2008 we only knew Barrack Obama as a symbol that we as a national had overcome racism. But now, in 2012, we know him and we know his worldview. I pray we heed the wisdom of the old saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.".
