Review of 2016: Obama's America (2012) by Richard B — 16 Oct 2012

I am nit a huge fan of documentaries because I tend to feel like they drone on in an effort to convince the viewer of this one man's opinion. This one I hesitated for months over whether or not to watch it.

It's frightening to think of the premise of this show. The creator is an intelligent man who retraces Obama's past to try to explain the "why" behind many of his decisions. You may or may not agree with the creator's conclusions, I think his logic is sound.

In fact, I felt the show helped me to understand why Obama does some of things he does. I used to wonder "why? it doesn't make sense." I feel like those questions in my mind are answered now.

But the answers do not bring comfort. The answers only serve to strike fear within me about the thought of what American could be if Obama gets another 4 years. After watching the show my Dad reminds me of Benjamin Franklin's words to the people after our great country was created, "You have a Republic, IF you can keep it.
