Review of 2016: Obama's America (2012) by Jamie H — 26 Oct 2012
During a campaign founded on a "Don't ask, don't tell" strategy, this movie asks the tough questions. It surely has activated the supporters that can't answer the questions being asked in this movie, but don't want them answered either.
No surprise that they criticise this documentary so viciously when it pulls together the actions of a man we truly know very little about. I've wondered why Obama has made many decisions as they seemed random at the time, but now make sense.
If you want to know where a person is going, you must first know where they're from and look at their actions along the way. This is a very insightful movie as the director tracks down family members, friends, and tracks history with actual dates and events leading up to and during the term of President Obama.
