Review of 2016: Obama's America (2012) by Jerry R — 15 Apr 2013
Well thought out albeit slow documentary on the ideals behind Obama's world view and political beliefs. The three predictions that were made following what someone who shares Obama's beliefs have actually been right on on the money.
I would recommend this movie to anyone, anyone who refuses is probably closed minded and will hate it as you see from the many other reviews. This documentary uses Obama's own words quoted from his auto biography as well as interviews with his family members.
I didn't feel like any of this was taken out of context but I did feel like some of the conclusions that were jumped to were a bit of a stretch. However, the fundamental ideas become pretty clear from Obama's own words from his book and the situations that are related from our current economic situation.
The idea of race is also talked about for a small portion of this movie which I found interesting as well. Hope this helps an you watch this film!
