The story is just good but the dialogues are not really strong enough. However, it is still one of my favorite disaster movies after Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow. Looking it on the other way round, the film itself functions to aware people on environmental issues, in an emotional running of 158 minutes.
The effects are just real, epic and awesome.
