2012 was just one mistake after another, typical of many disaster films. The film began well with a believable plot that slowly turned into a ridiculous, yet entertaining chain of events. 2012 is predictable and clichéd but offers the spectacle of over the top CGI to distract your attention.
While it may be mildly entertaining, it fails to deliver credible situations, characters and dialogue and that is 2012's downfall.
