Yeah go ahead take one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made, and make a sequel which just serves to reveal all whcih wasnt revealed in 2001. Even though its more faithfull to the novel than 2001, the unresolved things in 2001 and its fantastic ending w/ lots of motifs such as the breaking wine-glass made the original alot better.
