Review of 2010 (1984) by Corey B — 09 Jul 2009
Ok, we have a film that is a sequel to Kubrick's 2001 telling of a unsurmountable future (it's 2009 and we are sill not in luxury ships in space etc etc). A movie that tries to make sense of a movie that really doesn't make sense.
A sequel clearly set with 80s issues (cold war), if this movie was it's own sepeerate movie without having to mooch off of kubrick I might have more respect for the film but I dont.
