Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Luca Maria M — 15 Jul 2016
More than a movie, a visual and musical experience. As Ridley Scott said, this movie killed sci fi. Because it has everything and it's perfect. And its special effects are amazing even today and, since no CGI was used, I wondered how they managed to realize some incredible scenes.
A masterpiece that can be only imitated (the only flaw could be the confusing story, but Kubrick stated that they did it on purpose to let the audience find its own meaning, so it can't be considered a real flaw).
