Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Eshan W — 09 Jul 2013
2001: A Space Odyssey.
I have always been a Sci-Fi fan, as I have grown with them. My favorite sci-fi movies are, The Jurassic Park, Terminator (I & II), Avatar, Inception, Total recall, E.T, Star Wars et cetera.
But after watching Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey, I felt all those movies were so petty if compared to this masterpiece.
It's not only a futuristic vision of both the writers, Mr. Kubrick himself and Mr. A.C. Clark but it is very very important movie ever made.
From enduring opening, symphonies, supercomputers, spacecraft, and state-of-the-art technology has made this a genuine masterpiece.
I think it is equally important piece of art like Leonardo's Mona Lisa.
It's a movie which is still studied, and puzzled over the centuries.
A masterpiece..!
