2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY is the definitive sci-fi film- a movie made by a man who had perhaps the wisest and most poetic vision of mankind's place in the universe. No other film, in my opinion, has the ambition to actually want to enlighten us in this way.
It is one of the best and most visionary movies ever made.
