As a movie it gets 2 stars, as a piece of art it gets 5. That makes 3.5 stars. However, I add half a star to the overall because of the movies influence and importance on cinema and the science-fiction genre in general.
Without it there wouldn't have been a Bladerunner, nor Star Wars, nor Alien, etc.
