The movie can and will provoke thought at many of its points, and it doesnt only entretain as a movie itself, which it does plenty, but it offers itself as much more than just a sci-fi movie, as it doesnt just tell a story by itself , but as a good work of art, it provokes thought and insight, and its the reason why this is one of Kubricks most beloved films.
