Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Trevor T — 12 May 2014
This is probably the most unique movie experience I have ever had. Essentially a silent film with beautiful images that trumps any dialogue in the film. It is a film that reaches far beyond other movies in ambition and thought.
And if the final scene in the bedroom doesn't have you bowing down to Stanley Kubrik nothing will. Making a film this thought provoking and philosophical has made it a timeless classic. A testament to Stanley Kubrik's genius.
