My son was the only one in his English class that could raise his hand when the instructor asked who'd seen 2001. You need to do better America! Kubrick's film is mind-blowing even if you don't know the behind the scenes story of how groundbreaking the effects were.
It's a very slow, but worthy cinematic journey.
