I own the blu-ray, but have held out watching it for the chance to see it on the big screen. And hell, am I so glad I did. This film defines the word stunning. In fact if a film can almost be more than a film.
.. this is it. To think that this was made in 1968 blows my mind. And not just for effects, but for the sheer ideas. The thinking man's sci fi. Classic is a word over used nowadays, but for this its totally justified.
