Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by James H — 05 Jan 2016

I don't hate the movie, I respect that it is a fantastic cinematic achievement but only for the visual effects, cinematography and the heavenly soundtrack. The movie itself has minimal dialogue, most between a man and HAL (computer software), and most of its 2 and a half hour runtime is just taken us by them showing of the effects which, I'm sad to say, makes for a boring movie with slow pacing and boring character dialogue.

I wish I liked I more but I just don't.
