Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by John M — 28 Oct 2016

Deserves all the high praise it gets. Despite the evolution in technology we've seen in film, nothing compares to the marvel of visuals in 1968 this film has achieved. Kubrick puts just enough in this film to make us not know what the fuck is going on but perplex us enough in the best way to keep coming back for more viewings.

I've seen it 10 times and every time feels as pure as cinema can get.
