While it lacks traditional pacing and entertaining narrative (by today's standards) 2001: A space odyssey is a visual treat and tells a gripping (but confusing) story of astronauts, space travel, life on other planets and our own evolution.
It is prophetic, masterfully scored and gets the classic Stanley Kubrick treatment. A Must watch and a must own for any true film lover.
