Walt Disney was reportedly on the set (Burbank) for every shot. Beside Disneyland perhaps the most pure of Disney's fantastic visions. In fact if 20000 leagues bombed there would have been NO Disneyland.
David Fincher's Prequel is almost ready to film. And if you want to see the "real" thing check out Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea.
