Disney does Jules Verne with James Mason as Nemo, with stunning results. Verne's plea for global peace while cataloging the wonders of the Deep comes through loud and clear, with "A Whale of a Tale" sung by the Wellingtons a decade before they sung the Gilligan's Island theme.
The octopus battle gave me nightmares as a child. A timeless classic.
