Review of 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) by Nick K — 14 Oct 2012
Hmmm, not what I was really expecting. It wasn't bad, just average. The scene with the squid (which is considered the film's "iconic" scene) really wasn't all that much. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that 58 years later we have much better special effects, but even then, the scene and the squid in general is such a small part of the film that it's almost a let down.
