Review of 20,000 Days on Earth (2014) by Mark D — 18 Jun 2014
An original and compelling look at the genius that is Nick Cave. This doco takes the approach of spending a day, his 20000th, with Cave in Brighton England. We see him recording in his studio, visiting his archivist and also his therapist.
He has lunch with Warren Ellis and there are conversations with Kylie Minogue and Ray Winstone. It provides a good insight into his creative process, his mind and also his history in a unique framework.
