Review of 20,000 Days on Earth (2014) by Panta O — 03 Nov 2014

I enjoyed this film for the visuals... though Nick Cave comes off as kind of self-congratulating and unimportant, which I imagine may drive away people wishing to know about him... the whole film reflects this idea of "transformation", the interesting way in which his lyrics come from past experiences and dream-like worlds, a small amount of history, and the amazing musical talents of (the seemingly meek) Warren Ellis (which brings satiric connotations).
