Review of 20 Million Miles to Earth (1957) by Sgt. C — 24 Jan 2015
This is one of Ray Harryhausen's best works of his career (personally). This movie is about the first human expedition to the planet Venus, coming back to Earth unsuccessfully. Only one man aboard survived and also an alien egg is found that later becomes a Ymir reptile.
There has been a colorized version in 2008 by Legend Films but I highly recommend the black and white because it just looks fantastic. This is one of the best giant monster movies of the 50's.
