Not the best in terms of documentary filmmaking, but the power of these women's voices and stories carries it so strong. Merry Clayton, Darlene Love, Claudia Lennear, and as for Lisa Fischer, there are no words for the poetry of her voice and how she speaks about her craft.
It's a shame to see how low the quality of mainstream music has fallen, deep down into the making of (wiggling body parts) stars who cannot embody the spiritual art of musical living.
