A predictable action thriller, buoyed somewhat by leads Washington and Wahlberg's chemistry, is ultimately filled with so many ho hum double crosses, twists, and awful characters, it becomes a chore.
The jarring violence, which includes wanton cruelty to animals and women, does not help.
