Review of 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003) by Cole R — 15 Jun 2015

(spoilers) I wasn't disappointed that guys weren't wearing dresses and ladies weren't smoking stogies and growing chest hair (It's "old fashioned"). Post-modern idealism.

I gave it 5 Stars due to the overly negative reviews others gave. It is a solid 3 star movie for the general public and a 4 star to a more exclusive audience. I enjoy fine things, art, music, books, culture, architecture, machines, technology, nature, comedy and some but not all of almost everything. Truthfully, this movie was a bit cornball but wasn't aweful. The story is of a specific culture but must relate to a wide variety of international cultural markets. The truly ridiculous reality is that people with no interest in the subject matter of this very specific, obvious demographic film would venture to add their opinion at all. Congratulations to those connoisseurs of snobbery for stinking up the reviews with that annoying adult baby diaper smell. It didn't do anyone any good. The irony is that the culture portrayed in this movie would be as critical and judgemental of anyone or thing that did not measure up to their idealisms. The cycle of judgemental class hatred shall not be broken on any level apparantly. Also ironic is that the majority of snobs play on their smart phones and play fluffy cornball games or visit fluffy cornball sites because they are fun and would not be considered hugh art by any means. This particular movie is a fun adventure that wasn't meant to change the world or cater to those that are so out of touch with anything but their narrowly specific cult-like fishbowls that enable them to priss, flick and negatively impose an unproductive judgement. This is not the worst movie I have ever viewed and it wasn't the best. One thing that can be said is that the type of person reflected here does not exist by claiming the remnants of borrowed fame. They desire to be bold and original in a way that is exciting and fulfilling to them. Actually, it makes perfect sense for the characters to appear that way. What do you have if you take it all away? Prison guards? Police? Wake, work, sleep, die. In consideration that somewhere Elvis is joining people in fleeting matrimony and Marilyn Monroe is fanning her panties daily do not judge. They both committed pharmaceutical suicide. This is your punishment for decades of highly acclaimed cornball law enforcement television.
