Review of 2 Days in the Valley (1996) by Poo B — 30 Aug 2010
The great casting makes this 48 hour crime thriller a terrific watch. Clearly this movie is under the influence of a Quentin Tarantino-esq sort of storyline, and that's alright, the movie didn't come off as completely original, but I really like how all the characters are interwoven together.
At first you wonder how all these random characters will come together, they do, they find there way. The movie also had great elements of black comedy, including the scenes with James Spader, what a creepy funny villian he played.
One thing that really bothered me was Jeff Daniels character, where we are last left with him it comes off as sort of a cliffhanger on his part and there's never an explanation of what will happen next, but that's my only beef.
I liked this movie, it was a fun watch, probably would watch it again sometime.
