Review of 2 Days in the Valley (1996) by Geir O — 14 Sep 2007
Entertaining ensemble story in the Pulp Fiction-mold with a wonderful cast, especially James Spader as a creepy hitman and the always great Danny Aiello (why on EARTH doesn't more directors give this guy starring parts, he's a friggin' legend for pete's sake!) Director Herzfeld gets an A in my book for knowing WHEN to cut to the different characters, seemingly in touch with the viewer all the way.
Oh... and DAMN Charlize Theron (playing a Norwegian named Helga) looks so fiiiine in that tight body suit I go gah-gah just thinking about it :D If you're a guy and still not convinced: the movie also has one of the best catfights ever put on film :).
