Julie Delpy is WAY more than a pretty face. She worte, directed, produced, edited and composed the music for this quite charming movie!!! The main course is the relationship between Delpy & Goldberg who have been together for two years but have not quite tied the knot.
The side dishes are morsels of information and revelation about Delpy's past, offered up by her past male lovers/friends/one offs. The garnishes include discussions on avant-garde art, colonialism, womens' lib (343 bitches), pedophilia etc.
Yes this is an intelligent romance/comedy unlike any other!!
