Review of 2 Days in Paris (2007) by Sarfaraz A — 21 Sep 2012
2 Days in Paris French-German film written/produced/directed/starred by Julie Delpy (also editor and soundtrack composer of the film).
35 years old French Marion is a photographer living in New York City with her 35 year old American Jewish boyfriend Jack (however claims to be Catholic) a chain-smoking, tattooed. The two return from Venice to Paris to collect Marion's beloved cat; ultimately deciding to stay 2 nights in Paris, exploring grave of Jim Morrison and visiting friends and relatives. Jack comes to learn about severak if ex-boyfriends of Marion, this shockingly upsets him.
I have got a bad habit of (always) stumbling on watching sequels first; and very soon the curiosity grows to watch prequels. Hilarious scenes, and dialogues. Just don't heed to plot seriously as I might be sounding there; this film is witty and decisive in terms of knowing each other both funnily and emotionally. The film was shot on location in Paris 'Gare Du Nord train station', 'Pasteur station', 'Père Lachaise Cemetery'. 2 Days In Paris, captures magnanimous charming Paris.
