Absolutely hilarious! Goldberg really does a nice job playing the somewhat smarmy american liberal and Delphy brings back her neurotic but sensual french woman appeal. This is like Annie Hall meets Before Sunrise.
There's moments of completely awkward comedy and then moments of naked beauty. This is what romantic comedies should be. Not some pie in the sky ideal, but the real nitty gritty, awkward, loveable truth that is being in love.
Ms. Delphy also makes a fabulous debut as a director!
