Dreadful. From the previews and praise I'd heard, I expected a light, fun, slightly absurd French farce. This movie is none of those things. Too angry to be romantic, not funny enough to be a comedy, but lacking enough story to be considered a drama, this movie doesn't even work as a slice-of-life because there is absolutely no reason to care if these two stay together.
Worst of all, Delpy's character is terribly irritating. What a disappointment.
