Sounded like a great idea and I do respect Julie Delpy as an actresses (to some degree as a writer, since she co-wrote Before Sunset) however I was disappointed with the common choices she made on her directorial debut.
It is a very american oriented film, with typical jokes and stereotypes of french culture - to be fair, some moments are funny, but those are totally biased and unrealistic. Very strange that the script was written by a french woman.
.. but anyway, she had good moments in it, same as Adam "whatever his last name is".
