It was funny at times, infuriating at others. I sympathized more with Adam Goldberg's character simply because Delpy's character was such a flake. And her parents, whew, no one likes those kinds of bickering people in any culture.
He was supposed to be stuffy but I thought he was just sort of cautious, not that bad. He should have spoken the French language though. It would have made his life a lot easier.
