Review of 2 Days in Paris (2007) by Blake P — 13 Jul 2012
Julie Delpy does show her talent in this movie by giving us a witty script and some pretty decent acting. I wouldn't say this is the best she has done, but it still was enjoyable to watch. I did like how real the movie felt, it felt I was watching a real couple which was cool.
I also did like the chemistry between Julie Delpy and Adam Scott because like I said it felt like a real couple, they fought in the movie like a real couple and they talked to each other like a real couple.
I guess the thing I didn't like about this movie was the fact that some scenes kind of dragged on and also the fact this movie had kind of a dull tone to it. I don't really blame this one the actors I guess I blame it on the direction, so sorry Julie Delpy you did a great job writing and staring in this movie but you weren't very top notch directing it.
Other than that the movie is a fine movie to watch, it's definitely not for everyone but if your a fan of Julie Delpy's work than you will appreciate this. For me on I did enjoy it but it's not a movie I would watch a lot or even a movie I would even buy, so honestly I could take it or leave it.
