Julie Delpy's work is very hit-or-miss, and I call this a miss. There are some humorous moments, and I like Chris Rock, but overall this is not that interesting & not funny enough to hold your attention during the slow moments.
And Julie Delpy as well as her entire "family" are extraordinarily annoying. Not sure why Mingus puts up with her . . . not sure why we do for the length of the film Skip.
