Review of 1941 (1979) by Allen K — 02 Dec 2008

Quirky film with too much screaming and some very funny jokes. From memory, the directors cut was much better than the original so too much probably ended up on the cutting room floor. My favourite scene included one with a Japanese soldier trying to push a large radio into the small submarine hatch saying "We've got to figure out how to make these things smaller!".
