Review of 1941 (1941) by Sean M — 08 Jun 2008
Steven Spielberg certainly can do grandiose, I'll give him that much. But it's not surprising that he didn't venture into comedy much. The beginning of the film was slower than molasses, and the resolution left a bit to be desired, but the middle 70 minutes or so were as funny as I could have hoped.
And could Christopher Lee's talents have been any more wasted?
