Just a strange movie, but I'll give Spielberg props on capturing the hysterical nature of mass hysteria based upon rumors and half-truths. Some scenes (a dogfight down the streets of Los Angles between a half-drunk, delusional pilot and two horny and passionate wannabe lovers? Doesn't get much funnier than that!) make the movie worth watching for a cheap chuckle or two.
Not the worst comedy I've seen, but you'll find better.
