Review of 1922 (2017) by Michelle P — 19 Oct 2017
Who casts the women in these things? They do a terrible job. The wife looks like a jaded city slicker, not a "farmer's wife". Distracting. And they always have to write it as if the woman is disruptive, like she wanted to taps off to the city and drag her family with her.
Not realistic in such a rural setting. In reality, women (outside of Hollywood/Manhattan) tend to go along with their husbands for the sake of their children. Men, more often than not, kill because they seek to control, they feel they own their wives.
