Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Carly P — 28 Oct 2008
I really enjoyed this movie. Bruce Willis's character was so strange, but well defined and very wall acted. I just like the way he was written, and how he came across. Sure, his backstory is a bit obvious, but it's still enough to keep the story engaging.
Mos Def is very good here, and lovable as the goofy criminal getting transported to his trial. Their relationship is great, and some of the lines they deliver to one another, or because of one another, are great.
