Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Cynthia L — 19 Dec 2008
Capable, solid effort by Willis and Mos Def and expert direction by Richard "Lethal Weapon" Donner. The Film moves along at a crisp pace, providing tense drama and some interesting turns along the way, namely police corruption and about people who can change for the better.
Heart-felt ending is the icing on the cake, so to speak. While somewhat predictable (can you ever bet against Willis?), this movie has plenty to offer with its simple, moralistic tale...I recommend!
