Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Rio A — 29 Dec 2008
Bruce Willis is getting old, he might as well have a walking stick while shooting this flick, its kinda sad while watching this you feel that he could die any second. He played the part of Jack Mosley well but I'm just so used to him running around throwing people off rooftops.
Mos Def's acting in this movie was really annoying and a bit over the top his voice was like a crackhead on helium, there were some good touching moments with his character but all round I just found him really irritating.
David Morse did a good job but while watching this I just thought about the cop he played on 'House' with the same personality. This was a decent film the theme of redemption and change is thrown in your face though.
A good rental nothing more.
