Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Navendu M — 06 Mar 2009

I thought it was a decent suspense drama film. I was entertained a lot never got bored, Bruce Willis is playing more of a low rate old time cop not like his Die Hard character and it is nice to see an opposite character then John McClain.

Now Mos Def character is annoying sometimes but he always has something to say and sometimes he can entertain you and it is very nice to see an old Asian dude enjoy listening to this young and innocent character as he tells his stories.

This movie had me at awe sometimes and as you suspect things to turn out how you predict them it changes and it becomes a new change that fits the plot more. slow but yet a good movie but I would have spent a little more time showing us Willis character and letting us care for him a bit more then just wait through the movie and assume we like him.

Its a good movie to watch!
