Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Anssi V — 26 Jun 2011
Bruce Willis pretty much saves this film. Without him it would be just another film about the corruption of the police with some really annoying characters thrown in for good measure - Mos Def's character was especially obnoxious and annoying, which was bad because he played a main character.
Plus the film had some pretty big plot holes. But, it had villains that were at least a little identifiable, decent cinematography, some other good characters and it had Bruce Willis. Man's so charismatic that he could do pretty much anything and it would look cool.
So yeah, because of him this film was a decent experience. It wasn't particularly good experience, but it was average.
