Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Matt C — 24 Jun 2012
A solid genre cop flick from Donner. The grizzled cop (Willis) and the trying to go straight criminal witness (Mos Def) have to make their way across the as titled 16 blocks whilst several corrupt cops try to take them out.
It's nothing startingly original but it really is a success even if Mos Def's bizarre whiney accent does grate a little.
