Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Jeff B — 21 Aug 2008
A great action movie, especially with the great spots they put Willis and Def in. Mos Def especially comes out with a great character performance, especially when he rants about nothing in particular. I loved how the first shootout came so unexpectedly and from there the movie was flying! David Morse's character did a great job of antagonizing, but I wasn't sure a lot of the things he did were believable for someone of his implied experience.
Though there are a few dead spots that drag, the action out-weighs it by a long shot.
