Review of 16 Blocks (2006) by Cliff W — 23 Jul 2009
It kind of dragged. the premise on the trailer was interesting, a cop needing to bring a convict to the courthouse to testify before the grand jury as a key witness. however, many powerful people don't want him to testify and will stop at nothing to ensure that he doesn't have that opportunity.
I had to stop about a quarter of the way through and start over because I wasn't paying attention and I got lost. it didn't grip me, but I was interested enough to find out what would happen. however, if I needed to stop the movie, I could do so, but at the peril that when I returned to it, I would have trouble remembering what was going on.
